Subscription & Billing Policy

This Subscription & Billing Policy ("Policy") explains how Avaplicity, Inc. ("Avaplicity," "we," "us," or "our") offers, bills, renews, and cancels consumer subscriptions for the Avaplicity iOS app and related services (the "Services"). It forms part of our Terms of Use and should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.

Plans & Pricing (Founder plans)

We currently offer the following consumer plans in U.S. dollars (USD):

  • StarterFree, forever
  • Plus$14.99/month or $149/year (two months free compared to monthly)

What's included (summary)

  • Starter (Free): 1 scheduled standup per day; Personalized "Motivational Minute" (voice/text); Always-learning with 30-day recall surfaced; Standard-latency voice under fair-use limits; Recommendations with clear disclosures; optional paid add-ons when available.
  • Plus: Unlimited scheduled standups;Anytime Sessions (on-demand brainstorms); Personalized "Motivational Minute"; Always-learning with 365-day recall surfaced; Priority voice under enhanced fair-use limits; Recommendations with clear disclosures; monthly Action Credits stipend for Agentic Actions (see below); optional paid add-ons when available.

Features may vary by platform, version, or region. The definitive description of plan features and current prices appears in the app storefront at the time of purchase.

Purchases via Apple In-App Purchase

  • Merchant of Record. Subscriptions are sold through Apple's App Store. Apple is the merchant of record; we do not collect or store your full payment card details.
  • Entitlements. We use RevenueCat to validate App Store receipts and manage access to Plus entitlements. Your Plus features remain active as long as Apple shows an active subscription for your Apple ID.
  • Taxes. Any applicable taxes are determined and collected by Apple.

Auto-Renewal & Renewal Dates

  • Auto-renewal. Monthly and annual Plus subscriptions automatically renew for successive terms unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current term.
  • Billing timing. Apple typically charges your Apple ID within 24 hours prior to the renewal date.
  • Managing your subscription. You can view, change, or cancel your Avaplicity subscription in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. We cannot cancel on your behalf.

Cancellations, Refunds & Proration

  • Cancel anytime. You can cancel through Apple's subscription settings. After canceling, access to Plus features continues until the end of your current paid term.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. To request a refund, use Apple's support and refund channels. We are not able to issue or accelerate refunds.
  • Upgrades & downgrades. Effective dates and any proration are governed by Apple's rules and may vary by region and product. The App Store will show the effective date before you confirm a change.

Starter (Free) Plan

  • Not a trial. Starter is free and not time-limited. We may modify Starter features or availability with notice.
  • One scheduled standup/day. Starter includes one scheduled standup per day; "Anytime Sessions" are not included.
  • Learning & recall. Starter surfaces approximately 30 days of recall; Plus surfaces up to 365 days.

Agentic Actions & Action Credits

Some tasks ("Agentic Actions," e.g., filing assistance or structured workflows) may incur pay-per-use fees. Plus includes a monthly Action Credits stipend displayed in-app (amounts, if any, may change over time):

  • Credits apply first to eligible Action fees during the billing period, then standard pay-per-use rates apply.
  • No rollover / no cash value. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing period, do not roll over, and are not redeemable for cash.
  • Third-party/government fees. Government charges and third-party costs (if any) are separate and your responsibility. Avaplicity is not a law firm and does not provide legal or tax advice.

Fair-Use Limits (Voice, Sessions & API)

To protect service quality, we may enforce reasonable usage limits (e.g., rate limits, session length, concurrent sessions, daily/monthly activity). Excessive or abusive usage (including automated scraping, high-volume botting, or attempts to degrade service) may result in throttling, temporary limits, or suspension under our AUP. Starter includes standard-latency voice under baseline fair-use; Plus includes priority voice and higher limits.

Promotions, Trials & Coupons

  • Trials. If we offer a free or discounted trial in the future, the App Store will show the trial length and conversion terms before you confirm. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription will convert to a paid plan per the offer terms.
  • Promotions & coupon codes. From time to time we may run promotional pricing or provide codes redeemable in the App Store. The store page will control the offer's terms, eligibility, and duration.

Price & Feature Changes

  • Price changes. We may change plan prices. Apple will notify you of any price increase and, where applicable, require your consent to continue. If you do not consent, your subscription will not renew at the increased price.
  • Feature changes. We may modify or discontinue features. Material changes to paid features will be communicated in-app or by email where feasible.

Organization-Paid Access

If your subscription is paid for by an organization (e.g., a company or agency), that organization's agreement with Avaplicity may govern billing and entitlements. In such cases, changes and cancellations are typically managed by your organization's administrator.

Billing Issues & Chargebacks

If Apple cannot charge your Apple ID (e.g., payment method failure), Apple may pause or cancel your subscription and we may remove Plus entitlements until the issue is resolved. Repeated chargebacks or suspected fraud may result in suspension or termination under our Terms of Use.
