Accessibility Statement
Effective date: September 15, 2025
Avaplicity, Inc. is committed to making our website and iOS app usable for everyone. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and are evaluating WCAG 2.2 criteria as we evolve.
Scope
This statement covers the public website at avaplicity.com and the Avaplicity iOS application. Some third-party content or integrations we do not control (e.g., authentication flows, app store purchase dialogs, or embedded dashboards) may not fully meet the same standards, though we encourage our vendors to support accessibility best practices.
Our approach
- •Design & build: Semantic HTML, meaningful labels, headings, and landmarks; text alternatives for non-text content; predictable navigation; sufficient color contrast; forms with clear instructions and error feedback.
- •Keyboard support (web): All primary functionality should be operable by keyboard; visible focus indicators; "skip to content" links.
- •Mobile accessibility (iOS): VoiceOver labels, Dynamic Type support where practical, Reduce Motion and Reduce Transparency respected, sufficient touch targets, and descriptive UI controls.
- •Testing: Ongoing internal reviews using assistive technologies and automated checks; periodic audits as the product surface grows.
- •Continuous improvement: We track issues, prioritize fixes, and incorporate accessibility into our design system and development guidelines.
Compatibility & assistive technology
We aim to support current and previous major versions of modern browsers (Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox) on current operating systems, and the current release of iOS for the mobile app. Some older browsers or custom configurations may limit the experience.
Known limitations
We are actively improving the following areas and welcome feedback:
- •Third-party components: Certain embedded vendor interfaces (e.g., analytics dashboards or purchase dialogs) may have limited keyboard support or missing labels. We work with providers to remediate or provide alternatives.
- •Motion & audio: Some animated transitions and voice features may be distracting for sensitive users; we honor OS settings like Reduce Motion and provide text alternatives.
- •PDFs & downloads: Historical documents or exports may not be fully tagged. Upon request, we can provide accessible alternatives.
Feedback & requests for accommodation
We value your input. If you encounter a barrier or need an accessible alternative format, contact us at privacy@avaplicity.com and include:
- •The page/screen or feature where you had difficulty
- •The assistive technology or browser/device you're using
- •A brief description of the issue
We aim to acknowledge accessibility inquiries within 5 business days and provide a substantive response or workaround within 10 business days, depending on complexity.
Standards we follow
- •WCAG 2.1 Level AA (target)
- •WCAG 2.2 criteria (in evaluation)
- •Platform guidelines (e.g., Apple Human Interface Guidelines) that promote accessible user experiences
Assessment & governance
Accessibility is part of our product and engineering processes. We perform self-assessments and incorporate findings into our backlog. As the product surface expands, we may engage third-party evaluators to validate conformance and identify improvements.
Updates to this statement
We may update this statement as we improve our accessibility program. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
